Gavita EFM1 AC Fan Controller

For those who haven’t yet made the switch to EC fans, Gavita have created an intelligent AC fan control module for the ELF Controllers.

The EFM1 will control AC fans efficiently and quietly on low speeds, unlike other AC fan controllers, the EFM1 controller uses burst modulated AC control to reduce energy loss, which also hugely reduces the noise that speed controlled AC fans make at slow speeds. On higher speeds, the EFM1 switches to phase cut control, which is more efficient at those speeds.

The EFM1 can be plugged in between power outlet and fan and controlled from the ELF Master Controller via a simple signal wire.
