The ECM1 is built to work in conjunction with the EL2 and EL2F Master Controller.
As the EL2 and EL2F work on a low voltage output, they aren’t capable of switching auxiliary equipment. But with the External Contactor Module, the El2 and EL2F controller is used to switch on or off auxiliary equipment such as heaters, dehumidifiers and CO2 equipment to match lights on and lights off cycles.
